Re: Reinstatement of Georgetown Police Officer Stephanie Hoskins AKA Stephanie Brown
I am pleased to announce that after a legal battle that lasted more than 2 years and 8 months that needlessly cost the City of Georgetown untold thousands of dollars in legal bills, Stephanie Hoskins and the City of Georgetown have settled the case of Stephanie Hoskins Brown vs. The City of Georgetown, Texas, et al, Cause Number 13-1178- C277 in the 277 th District Court of Williamson County.
On November 7, 2013, in direct violation of a hearing examiner’s findings handed down just days before, Chief Wayne Nero terminated Stephanie Hoskins’
employment with Georgetown PD. Ultimately, with the settlement reached today, Officer Hoskins is fully reinstated with all back pay and benefit entitled to her by law.
